I have been working with care agencies for a number of years and it has been hard to find an agency who deliver a service to the standard I would expect to receive for a member of my own family. Sante Care have absolutely achieved not only an immensely caring service both within the care staff they employ, but also their managers. As is often the case, a package of care is needing to be provided urgently and often at a very complex level of requirements – on each and every occasion Sante Care have delivered an exceptional service. Both myself as an attorney, the clients and their families are afforded such kindness and care together with the assurances of continuity of care and staff provision. Sante Care absolutely go the extra mile no matter what day or time, I am always able to speak with someone who can offer help and advice.

I was in a care home from April 2018 until February 2022. I moved into a flat as I wanted to be more independent but required a live-in carer. A friend recommended Sante Care. During the past two years the service Sante Care has provided has been excellent. They always make sure that the client is satisfied with the service they are providing. They also ensure that their staff are happy with their placement. The communication from Sante Care is excellent, in my opinion, this is very important. My carers have always shown me respect, and have always been extremely attentive to my needs. Family and friends have always remarked how pleasant the carers have always been. The manager is always available if needed and always ensures that the carers are all always fully trained.

Sante Care began providing a 24-hour live-in care package for my friend who was suffering from Motor neurone disease from April 23 to September 23 when my friend sadly passed away. There were challenges in the beginning due to the complexity of the amount of care required but Santa Care were respectful and helpful in trying to fulfil my friend’s needs. In the early days, there were a few changes to the care team but one of the initial carers that started in April on the first week was caring for my friend as waking night care on rotation until the last night when she passed away. This carer was held in very high regard by my friend and her family. In the last few months of my friend’s life, there were 4 carers rotating 24/7 waking care – this was very intense for the carers, my friend and her family. The 4 ladies were amazing and treated my friend with professionalism, respect and dignity but were also very caring, kind and sympathetic to her complex needs and the difficult medical and personal care required.

My mother urgently needed live-in care. The first provider I contacted advertised an ability to provide care within 24hrs. On the phone, they amended that to within 72hrs of an assessment visit. At the visit, they hummed and hawed over even that, quoted £900/wk more than the price given on the phone and reserved their greatest enthusiasm for getting signatures on a direct debit. Then later phoned to say they couldn’t help, because of concerns which they hadn’t bothered to raise when they were visiting.
When I telephoned Sante Care at Home it was completely different. They visited very quickly, spent the time finding out about Mum rather than waving forms at us & were relaxed about things which had bothered the other provider (eg. rural location). They were also able to provide the care which was needed. We had two live-in carers; both were extremely pleasant, competent, flexible and quick to learn. I felt completely comfortable leaving my mother with them. I’d definitely use again.

The services provided allow my father to continue to enjoy life in his own flat which is his preferred location. He has live in care which ensures that his needs are met and is able to enjoy life. The staff supplied by the agency care and work well and the agency is friendly and approachable. If there was one area of improvement it would be better handover from one carer to another but it is acceptable, just not as good as it could be. I would recommend the agency.

Satisfied with the care given and being looked after with things I cannot do for myself anymore.

We needed care for my dad after his wife passed. Initially 2 hours a day and has over the months increased to live in care. The carers all seem to take a genuine interest in making dads life the best it can be. They ensure his medical needs re met. They talk to him appropriately and with regards to his age.

My husband has been a client of Sante Home Care for approximately 6 months. During this period we have increased his carers from 2 visits each week to 7 days a week plus night sitters. We have found this well led service provides us with kind , compassionate and caring staff who understand our needs. Whenever I leave one of their excellent care staff with my husband I know he is safe and well looked after. The night sitters provide a valuable service to enable me to get quality sleep whilst they monitor his needs and provide him with care and company. The day staff assist with personal care, dressing and daily exercises. On dry days they often assist in taking him out in his wheelchair, in the garden or around the town. We would not want to lose this valuable service
